Whatsheet — WhatsApp to Google Sheets
Last updated: August 2026
By creating an account or using Whatsheet, you agree to these terms.
Whatsheet connects a WhatsApp number to a Google Sheet and extracts data from inbound messages into rows, based on rules or an AI prompt you configure. A free tier is available; some features (AI-based extraction) are billed usage-based.
Whatsheet's current WhatsApp connection uses an independent, community-maintained library that connects the same way WhatsApp's own web/desktop apps do, rather than Meta's official Business API — this is a temporary approach while our official WhatsApp Business API access is under review. WhatsApp's own terms restrict use of unofficial clients, and WhatsApp may, at its discretion, limit, throttle, or disconnect a number using this method. Whatsheet is not responsible for any disruption to your WhatsApp number caused by WhatsApp's own enforcement of its terms. By connecting a number, you acknowledge this risk.
Whatsheet only ever reads or writes the spreadsheet you set up through the add-on — it never browses, lists, or accesses any other spreadsheet or file in your Google Drive. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling, including the specific Google permission scope this relies on.
If you enable AI-based extraction, message content is sent to a third-party AI model provider to generate the extracted fields. This feature is billed based on usage; pricing is shown in the app before you enable it.
Whatsheet is provided "as is." We aim for high reliability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, particularly given the WhatsApp connectivity risk described in Section 2.
You may stop using Whatsheet and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
